🎮 1. Scope & Games Covered

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, games, and services published by JUP Game Studio ("we", "our", "us"), both currently available and released in the future.

By downloading, installing, or using any of our apps ("Services"), you agree to the practices described in this document. Each new application we publish is covered by this policy unless it is accompanied by a separate, dedicated privacy policy.

📋 2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Display name / username — if you create an in-game profile
• Email address — only if you contact our support team
• Profile photo — only if you voluntarily upload one
• Purchase information — processed entirely by Google Play or Apple App Store; we never see your payment card details

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device identifiers — Android Advertising ID (AAID) or Apple IDFA, used for analytics and ads
• Device information — device model, operating system version, screen resolution, language
• Game progress & statistics — level completed, high scores, session duration, in-game purchases
• Crash logs & diagnostics — app version, stack traces, and error reports to help us fix bugs
• Approximate location — derived from IP address (country/region level only); we do not use GPS
• Network information — connection type (Wi-Fi / mobile data)

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your precise GPS location
• Contacts, photos, or files from your device
• Microphone or camera data
• Biometric information
• Sensitive personal data (health, financial, racial, religious information)

⚙️ 3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Operate and improve our games — deliver gameplay, save progress, fix bugs, and build new features
• Personalize your experience — adjust difficulty, show relevant in-game content, and remember your preferences
• Show advertisements — display ads through our ad network partners (see Section 5)
• Analytics — understand how players interact with our games so we can make them better
• Customer support — respond to your inquiries and resolve issues
• Legal compliance — comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service
• Safety & fraud prevention — detect and prevent cheating, abuse, and unauthorized access

We process your data under one or more of the following legal bases: performance of contract (providing the game you asked for), legitimate interests (analytics, security, improving our games), consent (personalized ads, where required), and legal obligation.

Our games use the following third-party SDKs and services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Analytics

• Google Firebase Analytics — app usage analytics and crash reporting
• Unity Analytics — gameplay event tracking (where applicable)

Advertising

• Google AdMob — banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads
• Meta Audience Network — additional ad inventory (selected titles)

In-App Purchases

• Google Play Billing — Android purchases
• Apple In-App Purchase — iOS purchases

Other

• Google Play Games / Apple Game Center — leaderboards and achievements
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting and stability monitoring

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

📢 5. Advertising

Our free games are supported by advertising. We display two types of ads:

5.1 Non-Personalized Ads

These ads are based solely on the game context and approximate location (country). They do not require any personal identifiers.

5.2 Personalized Ads

Where permitted by law and with your consent, our ad partners may use your Advertising ID (AAID / IDFA) to show ads relevant to your interests. You can opt out at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
• iOS 14+: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable tracking, or use "Limit Ad Tracking"

5.3 Rewarded Ads

Some games offer optional rewarded ads (e.g., watch a video to earn in-game coins). These are always voluntary — you choose when to watch them.

Our ad partners may collect and use data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Google AdMob's and Meta's privacy policies for more details.

👶 6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international laws. Specifically:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age
• Our apps do not require account registration for basic gameplay
• When personalized advertising is shown, we implement age-gating mechanisms as required by platform policies
• Younger audiences see only contextual, non-personalized ads
• We do not include social features (chat, friend requests) that could expose children to external users

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will promptly delete that information.

🗓️ 7. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

• Game progress & account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within 90 days of account deletion.
• Analytics data — aggregated and retained for up to 26 months, then purged or anonymized
• Crash logs — retained for 90 days
• Support emails — retained for 3 years, then deleted
• Purchase records — retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations

When you uninstall a game, local device data is deleted automatically. Cloud-saved data is deleted upon your request or after 90 days of account deletion.

🛡️ 8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption in transit — all data transmitted between our apps and servers uses TLS 1.2+
• Encryption at rest — sensitive data stored on our servers is encrypted
• Access controls — data is accessible only to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
• Regular audits — we periodically review our security practices
• Vulnerability testing — we actively monitor for and patch security vulnerabilities

While we take every precaution, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — withdraw any previously given consent at any time

🇪🇺 10. GDPR – EU/EEA Users

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you. In addition to the rights in Section 9, you have the right to:

• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (DPA)
• Not be subject to automated decision-making that produces significant legal effects
• Receive clear information about the legal basis for processing your data (see Section 3)

Our lawful bases for processing under GDPR are: Article 6(1)(b) – performance of contract; Article 6(1)(f) – legitimate interests; Article 6(1)(a) – consent (for personalized advertising); and Article 6(1)(c) – legal obligation.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

🌴 11. CCPA – California Users

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with additional rights:

• Right to Know — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
• Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we've collected
• Right to Opt-Out — opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
• Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
• Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information

Do We Sell Personal Information? We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do share certain identifiers (like Advertising IDs) with ad partners, which may constitute "sharing" under CCPA. You can opt out of this by following the steps in Section 5.2.

🌐 12. International Data Transfers

JUP Game Studio operates globally. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own, including countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.

When we transfer personal data from the EU/EEA to countries outside, we use one or more of the following safeguards:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
• Transfers to countries with an adequacy decision from the European Commission
• Binding Corporate Rules where applicable

By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information as described in this section.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.

When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Display an in-app notification for significant changes
• Send an email notification if you have provided your email address

Your continued use of our games after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
